5. Can you tell me a little bit about the structure of your company and how the various departments work with your clients?
Devix is an employee owned corporation, with all members of staff being stakeholders in the company. The internal communications structure within the company is open and forthright and reflects the communications culture that we have with our clients. As a standard operating procedure we contact our clients on an ongoing basis once they are “live” and on a daily basis during project implementation. For project planning purposes new clients will be given a dedicated account manager (Customer Advocate) and a quality control engineer. This account manager will remain your primary point of contact for all day-to-day interactions and is the gateway to all Devix resources. Clients have continuous open access to the managerial strata of the company.

7. Can you tell me a little bit about the process for implementing a new store?
At Devix Corporation, we’re very open about all of our processes and daily activities. In regards to implementation, we begin with a Devix implementation specialist learning the client’s business processes and workflow. From there, the Devix Business Analysts, drawing on their industry experience, start to assist the client in refining and streamlining their workflow to fully maximize our platform’s potential leading to greater productivity, lowered expenditures, and higher profitability. After we gain a detailed understanding of how a new client runs their operation, we’re ready to move on to collecting data. We collect all of the necessary data and combine it with tailored integration of the client’s unique workflow. Once the system is customized to fit the clients operating environment, Devix experts will train the client’s entire staff and the new system will be brought live on an agreed upon date. From launch date on, the Devix Guarantee ensures the client will be more profitable after implementation than they were previously.

11. Please provide a brief description of the upload process.
Devix uses a Web Services Engine (XML) to transmit data from the office environment to the web environment. A built-in “scheduler” triggers the changes made in the office database to be transparently sent to the web database via the Devix Web Replication Service. The client can set the interval at which the Replication Service runs and it is usually set somewhere between a few seconds to a few minutes.

13. What functionality does your product provide that is unique when compared to your competitors?
We have many unique and patented components within our system. Among these are the Business Process Accelerator ©® (Rules Engine): Fraud Logic Network ©®, Order Flow Management, and Business Intelligence. Our system is built on queues and queue flows similar to how a business works. The queues and their sequence can be changed and updated as your business changes allowing for unlimited growth and flexibility. A central architectural foundation is the “pushing” of valuable information through alerts and emails in contrast to having to “pull” information through the running of reports.

17. Please provide a brief description of your reporting capabilities. Please note whether reporting capabilities can be customized to allow reporting on individual stores, the customer’s entire account, collections of stores, etc.
We have a wide range of reports available and these can be directed towards individual sites, globally across all sites or any combination thereof. Customized reports can be created and managed with our patented rules based design engine. Every action in the system is time stamped and recorded and can be reported on. A central architectural concept of the Devix Commerce Suite is the concept of the platform “pushing” out mission critical data on a rolling basis without key users having to “pull” down these valuable data sets.

Alerts are issued to Devix personnel in real time and across delivery vehicles to our clients. Again, we evaluate our clients’ specific needs and fulfill in line with those.
